Diamonds In the Mud Found at Taman Negara

Being a fortunate Malaysian, where i enjoy the benefits of having clean water and electricity 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days in a year (just assume SYABAS and TNB "really did a good job" throughout the year ;D Ouch!), im blessed. Everyone knows how bad a day can be without clean water and electricity. For housewife, most of the house chores will be pending. For clerks and executives, most of the paper work has to wait ( cant Facebook-ing as well *sigh*). For school children, a very hot environment to study. For restaurant entrepreneur, business cant run very smooth and not enough plate for everyone. People will start complain when they do not have the basic necessities for only a while.

Have you think about them? (for at least once)

Most of the aborigines people live in minimal. Shelter made from palm trees, Monkeys for dinner, water from the river and fresh air (no fan and no air conditioner) are what they need to survive. Have you ever think to experience what they had experience? or shall i put it this way, Would you like to live like them? Please bear in mind that there is no telly and Astro here. How would you describe yourself living like them for the rest of your life? Tough rite?

The palm trees hut.

Their very own fire starter.

Lets start cookin'.

Monkey Stew....anyone? ;)

Thats not it. Look closer to the picture below. Can you see the blue truck and the wooden "buildings"? Those are their toys. I repeat, TOYS. It is sad to see how they enjoy playing with those toys but still they are very happy. You can see they laugh together...You can see happiness in their eyes. No expensive Wii, PS2 or iPad ;)

The toys and their playground.

Their world, their happiness.

But do not under estimate them. Although they live in a very minimal way, living in the jungle never stop them to take care of their hygiene. They still brush their teeth. So people, if an aborigine can brush his teeth, why cant you?(cuz i know that some of you might not brush your teeth regularly). Shame on you! Scroll down to see their toiletries.

Their toiletries.

Being less fortunate doesn't make them less human. In fact, they make do with everything that they have. They set for their own fire, hunt for food by using "Sumpit" and they share their food with the tribe members. If a monkey is their dinner, they will share that one monkey for 10-15 people. Sharing is caring i must say.

Sometimes, being fortunate will make you less human. You have clean water provided everyday, but still you do not pay or to make it even worst, you steal the water from the provider. Currently Syabas will not take actions to the water thief if they admit that they steal the water supply from SYABAS. However, bear in mind that this is for certain period only. So, if you are among of them, please take necessary actions ok? Go to SYABAS and surrender yourself.

Commercial Break ;)

Personally, i think the key of happiness starts when u appreciate things around you. I keep on saying that, 'Little things will make a difference'. That is the reason why the aborigines are happy living in minimal meanwhile we the urban and modern people keep on complaining and never satisfied with what we have. Dissatisfaction will lead to unhappiness. Now i know why some of us are not happy ;)

Babes and hunk, you make me smile =)

As a Muslim, the word that best describe this situation is 'Syukur'. It means, be thankful. In oder to wrap this entry, i would like to say, 'Be thankful and you'll be happy, Be greedy and you'll regret'.

nota kaki: Please pardon the lady in pink. She is a cam-whore and the writer =)

Oh yeah!

Don't hate me but love me instead =) I'll bring your spirit together with me tonite. So, we can watch his performance together. I wish he will sing My Boo. Hopefully kan? By the way, which songs do u like from his collection?

The clock is ticking. Tick Tock Tick (Bukan lagu Keisha yer.Harap maklum). I can't wait to enjoy myself since my class will start this weekend. So my leisure time is limited. Boring kan? Well, life must go on. Lagipun, InsyaAllah this will be final semester. Pray for me and i will be more than happy =)
