The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks

I have finished reading The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks. This is my first time reading his piece ( i watched The Notebook but i don't read (^_^")v ). At first the story is quite flat and lame ( family problem, teenagers problem yadaa yadaaa...) but the interesting part came later. He put his writing as simple as he could. It is like reading a diary where u have minimal jargon (or perhaps no jargon at all). Nicholas Sparks really let me imagine the whole story of The Last Song without failed. The best part is i almost cry in the train while reading this book. How cruel! How can i cry in the middle of the crowd? Uhuk... I have to squeeze my nose and not to let any teardrops running through my cheek. Malu tau nanti!~

In the movie of The Last Song, Miley Cyrus carry the character of Ronnie.However, in my imagination, i imagine Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan in the Twilight) as Ronnie. For me, Kristen Stewart is more suitable to carry Ronnie's character. Try to read the book, i think u'll have the same thought as me. But sadly, i couldn't imagine any actor that can carry Will's character (well actually i sort of imagining Prince William to be Will..hehe..crazy huh?). In this movie, Liam Hemsworth play as Will.

Its a light book with full of emotions which you can actually relate to you, yourself. You will feel that this book is very close to you. Although i think that this book suits teenagers best, but as an adult i value every single bit of the story. Its about friendship, love and family which are the things that i really treasure in my life =)

Hope i can watch this movie soon...Hopefully i can watched this movie with my beau (and not forgetting friends and family). The last time i watch The Notebook (also from the same author), Sue and i caught ourselves crying in front of the tv. So darlings, please bring along your tissue if u want to watch this movie. As for me, i think Chekgu's shirt will be just fine. Sorry dear, i will be rubbing my wet eyes to your CK shirt...hehehe~

Lately ni kan...aku rase blog haku ni dah macam blog makcik-makcik. Kenapa? Sebab aku asyik cerita pasal masakan je...bukan aku nak tunjuk rajin tapi ini menunjukkan bahawa aku baru je nak belajar masak =p~ Dulu mase muda remaja tak mahu belajar, so terpaksalah belajar sekarang. Kalau tak belajar sekarang, nanti kawen kite makan luar aje yer! Eh, tapi aku start belajar masak ni bukan sebab untuk kawen tapi lebih kepada self satisfaction atau lebih tepat Tummy Satisfaction! Hehe

Hari tu aku masak Nasi Tomato, Ayam Merah and Trifle. Nampak sikit je kan? Tapi ambil masa lebih 3 jam untuk sediakan semua ni (please bear in mind that i am still amateur). Aku start masak jam 3 pagi. 3 pagi??? Yer 3 pagi. Selepas balik dari menonton late nite movie bersama chekgu (itupun dua-dua tertido dalam movie...bosan citer Green Zone tu), aku pun bersiap sedia utk masak. Kenapa lama sangat aku masak eh? Sebab aku masak sorang and aku guna lesung batu. Nak wat camne, kat umah sewa taded blender. Baru aku tahu betapa susah orang dulu-dulu nak masak. Dahulu kala mana ade blender. Semua mengguna kudrat tulang 4 kerat utk menyediakan makanan.

Lebih kurang jam 6 pagi, aku sudah mula pack bekal makanan untuk chekgu (dan kawannya) serta adikku (dan kawannya). Siap pack bekal (macam mak-mak kan??? Heran btol aku dgn diri sendiri!) aku pun mandi kemudian bersiap sedia utk bergumpal di bawah selimutku yang memanggil-manggil.

Jam 9 pagi aku bingkas bangun. Aku lihat tiada orang dalam bilik. Rupanya semua sedang melantak nasi tomato sebagai bfast. Lantak koranglah....yg penting korang bahagia dan aku kene siap-siap untuk kelas. Ha, aku ade kelas tau! Bukan aku sambung tido or goyang kaki pagi sabtu tau.

Petang sabtu, lepas kelas, aku masak lala masak pedas (maaf Zura sebab tak bagitahu kamu). Owh..sungguh rhendu saya dgn lala. Awas, bukan ND Lala tau! Marah bini dia....

So, inilahh rupa makanan yg aku masak tu.

Stoken Saya Wangi!

Stoken saya wangi! Stoken anda? Haha....stoken yg baru basuh atau yg masih berbungkus di dalam plastik kedai memanglah wangi. Tapi yg telah tersarung 24 jam di kaki yang berpeloh....?Urm rasanya baunya sudah bertukar =p Rasa loya kan perenggan pertama ni? Kite ke perenggan yang seterusnya...

Stoken yang saya maksudkan bukanlah sarung kaki seperti yang difikirkan. Tetapi Stoken ini adalah sejenis haiwan peliharaan kesayangan kami sekeluarga. Dulu ada saya story-mory sket pasal Stoken ni. Stoken dah besar sekarang....Dia makin manja...Dia suka sergah orang yg lalu lalang di tangga.... Kalau mak gayut tipon, dia mesti kacau! Mak kate Stoken jeles sebab tak layan dia... Stoken ni gumok....Suke tepok peha dia....Kalau goreng peha dia, mesti sedapkan?

Perot Made in Italy

Hehe...bab bab perot ni sensitif sket...terutamanya kepada Kak Yamie saya =p~ Kenapa? Sebab beliau mengesyaki bahawa perot beliau telah naik ukur lilitnya... Entry ni bukan utk meng'glamour'kan Kak Yamie tapi mahu menceritakan perihal aku, kuali dan sudipku. Ape agenda kami minggu lepas ya?

Puan-puan dan tuan-tuan, hujung minggu lepas saya telah selamat memasak Spaghetti Bolognese buat ke sekian kalinya. Kenapa saya selalu masak Spaghetti Bolognese tetapi bukan Masak Lemak Cili Api? Jawapannya, kerna perot chekgu saya adalah perot made in Italy. Seleranya lebih cenderung ke arah masakan Italy dan yg seangkatan dengannya. Tapi kali ini aku tokok tambah resepinya dengan Meatball baked with cheese. Ape nak buat, beliau amat menyukai keju (uhuk, kamoo...keju mahal tau T_T).

Eh...tapi saya bukan masak utk beliau saja. Ada beberapa orang yg kiranya bertuah kerana dpt makan masakan saya...yer bab kate orang melayu, saya ni setahun sekali je masuk dapur....bak kate omputih pula, once in a bluemoon ;)

Resepi kali ni sama sahaja seperti sebelum ini. Masih mengekalkan bahan utama iaitu Encik Ragu berperisa tomato dan garlic. Stok Encik Ragu yang berbotol-botol di rumah telah habis... Harap-harap masih di jual di Cold Storage The Mall. Saya pengguna setia Encik Ragu kerna rasanya yg lebih umpph mcm teh Boh =p~ Pernah tukar ke botol cap lain kerna tidak berjaya menemui Encik Ragu di mana-mana kedai, tetapi hasilnya lain....Sebab itu saya masih setia dgn Encik Ragu saya....Rupa Encik Ragu saya adalah seperti dibawah....

Setelah selesai memasak dan pack bekal untuk mulut-mulut yang bertuah, saya bersiap utk ke kampus. Ha....jangan ingat saya bersenang lenang di hujung minggu yer. Saya terpaksa membahagikan masa utk kelas (sabtu dan ahad), diskusi, santai dan utk orang-orang yg tersayang. Kelam kabut saya mencari baju dan seluar yg bakal saya pakai ketika berdiskusi bersama group mates dan selepas diskusi saya akan keluar membeli belah bersama chekgu dan adik beliau...Jadi kenelah chantek-chantek sikit kan kawan-kawan?

An Unexpected Celebration!

Kringgg Kringg Kringg.....It was in the late evening of Sunday, which is yesterday when i received a phone call from someone. I am so surprised to receive that phone call as i know that this person does not live in KL. So, what the hell is she doing here???

Ahh...but later i know that yesterday was her 26th Birthday =) Hehe...Happy Birthday, Anis! but she is not alone as Shiela is celebrating her birthday today. Happy Birthday, Shiela! Ting! An idea popped up into my mind. I asked them to get ready and fetch me as i will bring them to a place... urmmmm somewhere in Bangsar. Obviously, to celebrate their birthday.

So i bought Chocolate Indulgence cake from Secret Recipe and ordered some delicious food for our tea time cum birthday celebration at Chawan Bangsar. While waiting for my dear darling and his friends ( i mean, our friends) to join us, we filled up our tummy with Nasi Tomato, Ayam Masak Merah, Keropok Lekor ( owhh... they cant beat our tempting Kuantan Keropok Lekor ok!), Cucur Udang and drinks. In between, we did capture some moments together. Perhaps, a lots of moment together!

Finally, after a while chekgu arrived with his friends. Then we cut the cake and the celebration begun.......
